I found a flow with tatreez even though I don’t sew or cross stitch (or haven’t before now!)
The beautiful and distinct packaging, quality of materials, thoughtful note on the history of the practice all made these patterns stand out—alongside the gorgeous designs themselves. I had been intimidated to start because I wasn’t even sure of the last decade I had threaded a needle, but I quickly realized that the included instructions really do tell you all you need to know, and were more on-point for me than the unnecessary googling I was doing. Beginners can handle this! I’m just getting started and am pleased to say it’s soothing to do. The aida cloth has a good thickness—it’s easy to work with but is totally hiding the messy back of my stitches, which I need!
